LIFETIME WARRANTY POLICY
High-Quality 316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel
At Sardine Marine, our products are crafted using premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel to ensure durability and performance in harsh marine environments. However, it is important to note that stainless steel is not entirely corrosion-proof.
- All metals, including 316 stainless steel, are subject to oxidation over time. When continuously exposed to marine spray or high-salinity environments, visible oxidation stains (commonly known as “rust stains”) may develop.
- These stains are cosmetic and can be easily removed using rubbing compounds, mild sanding, or stainless steel cleaners.
Warranty Coverage
Our products undergo precision robotic welding to ensure the highest quality and durability. As part of our commitment to excellence, we offer a lifetime warranty on the welding of our anchors and related marine parts.
However, this warranty is limited to the following conditions:
- Covered by Warranty:
- Welding that is fully damaged or has failed due to manufacturing defects.
- Structurally defective or broken parts caused by manufacturing errors, not misuse or external factors.
- Not Covered by Warranty:
- Bent Anchors: Anchors bent due to normal wear and tear, improper use, or excessive force (e.g., pulling the anchor free from rocky sea floors or other obstructions).
- Overloaded Anchors: Damage caused by exceeding the specified stress capacity limits of the anchor or product.
Warranty Claims Process
If you believe your anchor or marine part has suffered damage covered under this warranty, please follow the steps below:
- Documentation:
- Take clear, zoomed-in photos of the damage, ensuring all affected areas are visible.
- Include a photo of the product as a whole to assist with identification.
- Submission:
- Email the photos along with a description of the issue, proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice), and your contact information to: mfreire@sardinemarine.com.

- Upon receiving your claim, our team will carefully assess the photos and details provided. If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will replace the defective product free of charge.
Important Notes
- No Returns: Please do not return damaged or defective products to Sardine Marine without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be processed or refunded.
- Maintenance Recommendations:
- To extend the lifespan of your marine products, we recommend routine cleaning with appropriate stainless steel cleaners and avoiding prolonged exposure to saltwater when not in use.
